Reviews and Ratings
I stayed at Beaver Run Resort via Hotwire and had a fantastic experience overall. The hotel's location allows for convenient ski-in, ski-out access, and the rooms are well-designed with a sliding plastic door separating the kitchen. The staff's service was exceptional, although some maintenance issues had to be addressed. The on-site dining offered excellent meals cooked to order, but some breakfast options were missing. The facilities were top-notch, and the value for money was fair considering the amenities provided.
The hotel room was quite disappointing as it was dirty with dust on all surfaces, a sticky kitchen, a shabby sofa with torn cushions, and old carpet. The peeling wallpaper and mold around the windows were concerning, and the wardrobe doors were falling off. The ancient kitchen appliances, like the faulty fridge thermostat, also posed issues. The room felt cramped, needing a thorough cleaning. The absence of a shower was a significant drawback.
Staying at the hotel felt like sleeping in an oversized closet due to the room having no window, causing it to be warm at night and making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Although the room was large, the bathroom was tiny and in need of a good cleaning.
